Reclaiming a forgotten civic heart at the centre of Torelló, the project restores the continuity between Plaça Vella, Casa Orís and the gardens of Can Parrella, transforming a fragmented and obsolete complex into an open cultural infrastructure. Working from the existing fabric, the intervention preserves its material memory while introducing a clear and adaptable framework for new collective uses. Library, music and arts programmes unfold within a shared structure that extends into the gardens, where building and landscape become one continuous public realm. Conceived for permanence and change, El Club is an architecture that recovers the past while remaining open to future appropriation.
