Can Sellarès

Can Sellarès reimagines a former sports ground as a new piece of civic infrastructure for the neighbourhood. At the heart of the project, a lightweight canopy spanning 45 metres creates a generous 2,700 m² covered space that extends the surrounding park and accommodates sports, cultural and community activities. More than a roof, the structure acts as a large climate shelter: an open and shaded environment that offers protection from heat and rain while encouraging everyday use throughout the year. Conceived as an adaptable and collective space, the project transforms an underused site into a new centre of neighbourhood life.
